A blend of butters and oils provide a boost of moisture and conditioning to the skin while natural additives like strawberry puree and cream help calm sensitive skin and lock in moisture. When used regularly, this all-natural bar soap will cleanse the body's pores and will leave skin feeling fresh, moisturized, healthy.
The shea butter and cocoa butter work hard to replenish moisture to the skin, while coconut oil and sweet almond oil create a beautiful lather and cleanse the skin. Poppy seeds are a mild exfoliant that gently remove dead skin cells and surface impurities, leaving the skin feeling smooth and soft.
Due to natural sugars in this recipe from the strawberry puree and cream, this soap will naturally begin to show a shade of yellow in certain areas over time. This is a natural occurrence in soap that contains natural sugar and will not affect its performance or cleansing abilities.
Made using a traditional cold process technique, this all-natural bar soap cures for six weeks after production to achieve the highest quality hardness and aroma.

Cocoa butter is made from the roasted seeds of the cocoa tree. Like many other oils and butters, it is high in vitamin E and antioxidants. We use a pure cocoa butter that is unrefined and not deodorized, which leaves it with a beautiful cocoa aroma. Cocoa butter makes a hard bar of soap and is an excellent moisturizer.
Coconut oil is extracted from the kernel or meat of mature coconuts harvested from the coconut palm. It is a staple ingredient in our soap making because of its many amazing properties for your skin. Because of its highly cleansing properties, we use coconut oil in smaller amounts to eliminate drying out the skin. Coconut oil also creates an amazing, creamy lather, and creates voluminous bubbles.
Olive oil is a stable in many of our soaps, and for good reason—it has been used for thousands of years in soap. In fact, soap made solely with olive oil has its own name: Castile soap, named for a region in Spain where many olives are grown. Olive oil is gentle on skin of all ages, from babies to the elderly, because of its gentle cleansing properties. It is also high in antioxidants like vitamin E and polyphenols.
Palm oil is derived from the pulp of the fruit from palm trees. We use palm oil in soap to add hardness to a bar, to act as a secondary lathering agent, and to help refresh the skin and help it maintain its elasticity. Because preserving nature is important to us, we exclusively use RSPO-certified palm oil so that we know our palm oil is not coming from primary forests, areas of biodiversity or endangered species, and that employees who harvest are treated fairly according to international labor rights standards.
Shea butter is a fat extracted from the nut of the African shea tree, and is a soft, creamy butter that gives a silky and luxurious feeling to soap. It is high in vitamins A and E, as well as many fatty acids and minerals. Since it does not fully saponify during the soap making process, it is an amazing ingredient to increase the nourishing properties absorbed into your skin.
Sweet Almond Oil
Sweet almond oil is an emollient oil extracted from the nuts of the sweet almond tree. We use it in soap because of its moisturizing effects on your hair and skin. It also helps create a mild soap with a stable lather, making it a great oil for those with sensitive skin. It contains vitamins A and E and linoleic acid, and is high in oleic acid—a moisturizing fatty acid.
An essential oil is a concentrated hydrophobic liquid containing volatile aroma compounds from plants. Essential oils are extracted using numerous methods, but we exclusively use essential oils extracted via steam distillation because it does not include alcohol or solvents as part of the process. We also exclusively use pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils and require a Certificate of Analysis on every oil to prove it is a pure essential oil and not mixed with another liquid.
